WIKILEAKS
WikiLeaks is an international media organization founded in 2006 to publish censored and restricted documents from anonymous news sources and leaks. To date, it has published more than 10 million documents.
WikiLeaksâs founder is Julian Assange. The self-stated goal of his website is to âopen governmentsâ by publishing information it deems important to the public. Wanted in several countries, Assange found asylum in the Embassy of Ecuador in London. He has not yet been tried by the United States for the release of these classified materials.
